Industrial Product Design Internship

Internship periods:
February - June
September - January

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be an intern in the Product department, where you will have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of a fast-growing scale-up. You will help the team to manage and organise all Stoov product specifications, improve products and develop new products, as we prepare for our next peak season in full force.

In addition, you work closely with our suppliers and customer service to analyse any complaints and make our product even better on that basis.

You get to know our products from A to Z, work closely involved in product development & production and interact a lot with your colleagues from engineering and product design (textile).

You will: 

• Be closely involved in concept development, design and engineering 

• Be working on a wide range of tasks; no day is the same! 

• Ensure that our product specs are and remain up-to-date. Crucial for our production!

• Perform quality and safety tests and do analyses.

• Have direct contact with our suppliers about running prototypes and production

• Gets all the ins and outs of all the departments involved in order to bring a product to market.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are as dedicated to the planet as we are;

• You are currently enrolled in your 3rd or 4th study year of Industrial (Product) Design (or something similar) at a Dutch University;

• You are an all round designer and get excited about everything that has to do with electronics & engineering;

• You are excited to understand our product in detail and can't wait to make it even better!

• You are strong in common design tools, such as SolidWorks & Adobe Creative Cloud;

• You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, are independent and good at solving problems and issues;

• You are accurate and critical;

• You work well together and have strong communication skills.

• You have a student travel card (studenten OV).
